EXHIBITION
Welcome to exhibit at
XXV Congress of the European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology
10 - 14 June 2006, Vienna, Austria
Dear exhibitor,

In 2006 the XXV EAACI Congress and Exhibition will take place in Vienna.
From 10 to 14 June the Austrian Society of Allergology and Immunology will be the host of this important international event.

In 2006 it will also be 100 years since the Austrian pediatrician Clemens von Pirquet coined the term ALLERGY. In an effort to continue this tradition in allergology, we and the EAACI Executive Committee as well as representatives of the EAACI Sections and Interest Groups will generate a successful scientific program of the highest standards comprising all aspects of Allergology and Clinical Immunology. Our believe is that better patient care originates from basic research and is reflected by the Congress theme “Basic Science in Allergology and Clinical Immunology, a Prerequisite for Improving Patient Care”.

We do believe that Vienna, with it’s tradition back to ancient times, as a central European city, will be the right spot for hosting the Congress. Vienna, a former capital of the “Holy Roman Empire” and the Habsburgian Monarchy for centuries is a beautiful, cosmopolitan city. The surrounding countries had great influence on Vienna’s culture, architecture and cuisine and we consider Vienna a true melting pot for many European nations.

With this background we are confident to attract many participants from all over the world.

EAACI considers the Exhibition of pharmaceutical and affiliated products a very important part of the Congress. The Austria Center Vienna with it’s excellent facilities for Exhibition, Founder Sponsor symposia and symposia organized by other companies, will provide you with the full attention of the many participants.

I look forward to see you in 2006 during the XXV EAACI Congress. I hope and expect that Vienna will meet all our scientific and social expectations.
