INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTER PRESENTATION

Location

The poster exhibition will be held in connection to the exhibition hall. Your poster board will be marked with the number given in your personal e-mail notification, poster or oral. This number will remain the same in the Final Programme/Abstract Book.

Time for display

All posters will be displayed throughout the meeting.

  • Posters should be mounted between 12.00 on Wednesday 3 May and 09.00 on Thursday 4 May.
  • Posters should be dismounted after 15.00 on Friday 5 May.

Make sure to remove all poster-mounting material from the board. The meeting staff will remove posters not taken down on time. No further responsibility will be taken.

Poster Material

The maximum size of your poster should be 130 cm (width) x 80 cm (height) i.e. landscape format. The poster board is made of cardboard and posters should be attached to the surface with needles which will be provided by the meeting staff at the poster exhibition desk in the poster exhibition area. Your poster number will be displayed with large printed figures in a corner of the poster board.

Text layout

Give a short and comprehensive review of the basic items of your study. Dividing your text into several but clearly delineated paragraphs and sections such as Introduction or Aim of Study, Materials and Methods, Result-Conclusions can do this. Remember that it is easy to start reading a paragraph of six lines and that most people avoid one with 30!

Your poster text should be enlarged so that it can be read at a distance of about one meter.

Illustration layout

Drawings, diagrams and photos are extremely helpful and often necessary to display results and conclusions. Make sure that your illustrations are easy to understand; do not overload any chart or drawing with information.

Should you need further information, please contact the Meeting Secretariat: Congrex Sweden AB, phone: +46 8 459 66 00, e-mail ngc2006.abstract@congrex.se
