OPENING CEREMONY AND WELCOME RECEPTION

| Following the Opening Ceremony, which will take place in the Auditorium
of the International Congress Centre Munich (ICM), all participants
are invited to join the Welcome Reception which will take place in
the foyers of the ICM. Light food, drinks and entertainment will be
provided. The Opening Ceremony and the Welcome Reception are open
to all registered delegates and their registered guests at no additional
fee. Please tick the box on the registration form. Name badges are
required. |

CONGRESS EVENING / ALL-CONGRESS EVENT
Date: Monday, 27 June 2005
Time: 19.00 - 23.00
(The museums will be open from 19.00, but food will be served from 20.00).

Exclusively for the delegates of the WAC 2005, the famous three Pinakothek
museums all located in the city centre of Munich and within 3 minutes
walking distance from each other (www.pinakothek.de)
will be opened during the evening. One of the world's largest museums
for visual art of the 19th and 20th century in Munich is the Pinakothek
of Modern Art, which opened in 2002. The collections of the Old Pinakothek
provide paintings from famous European artists from between the 14th and
the 18th century. Among these are Duerer, Rubens, Raphael or Rembrandt.
The New Pinakothek has concentrated its contents on the painters of the
19th century. Together they form a unique museum complex covering art
from late medieval times up to today. International food and drinks will
be served during the evening at a central area between the three museums.
The Congress Evening/ All-Congress Event is open to all registered delegates
and their registered guest at no additional fee. Exhibitors can buy tickets
at a price of EUR 70. Please tick the box on the registration form Name
badges are required.
BAVARIAN EVENING
Date: Thursday, 30 June 2005
Time: 20.00 - 24.00

A typical Bavarian evening will take place at one of
Munich's famous beer halls. Participants will enjoy home-brewed beer
and local specialities together with Bavarian entertainment in an
informal party atmosphere which will give you a feeling of the original
"Oktoberfest". It will be great fun to watch Bavarian folk
dancers and listen to the famous "Goaßlschnalzer".
In addition, the local organising committee will provide a big surprise
during the evening, which you
should not miss. |

so make sure to register early. Attendance at the Bavarian Evening
is limited to 1000. Tickets for registered delegates and their guests
(EUR 70 each) are available on a first come-first served basis. |
MUNICH ORIENTATION TOUR
Date: Sunday, 26 June
Time: Every hour between 12.00-17.00

On this sightseeing tour by bus you will see the most
famous places in the city and you will get an impression of the culture,
the history and the way of life of Munich's citizens.We will see places
of interest like the Deutsches Museum, the Angel of Peace, the Bavarian
State Opera, the Royal Palace, the Field Marshall's Hall with the
famous
Theatiner Church. |

The tour continues with the Königsplatz, the Old, New and Modern
Pinakothek and the Nymphenburg Palace, the former summer residence
of the electoral princes and kings of Bavaria. Time permitting you
also get a view of the Olympic Park, the Olympic Tower and more. Included
in the registration fee provided that you have registered for the
tour on the registration form. Make sure to wear your badge on the
tour! |

this tour your guide will show you by bus the most beautiful places

Old, New and Modern Pinakothek, the Theatinerkirche, the Royal Palace

Passing the Olympic Park of the 1972 games, the tour leads to Nymphenburg
Palace, the former summer residence of the electoral princes and kings
of Bavaria. You will be expected for a guided tour inside the palace,
where you can also admire the legendary "Gallery of beauties"
of King Ludwig I. The tour ends with coffee in the famous "Palmengarten
Café". |
DACHAU

transportation ticket, entrance fees. Sightseeing in Dachau means
to look back to the most tragic chapter of German history. You will
be guided through the memorial site and be shown the original places
and pictures of the Concentration Camp Dachau. Please be aware that
this day may be experienced as very sad, even threatening. |

BMW DRIVER TRAINING

Departure: Meeting point at the BMW ground. Transfer
to be arranged if necessary. Price incl. guide, transportation ticket,
training, BMW 316i. This well-known training provides you with the
theory of road vehicle dynamics as well as with practical driving
exercises. You will be trained in how to cope with the most risky
situations that can occur in road traffic.
There will be exercises, e.g. emergency braking and obstruction avoidance
in realistic road situations, to install a feeling of security in
you; conducted at city speeds. |

BERCHTESGADEN AND LAKE KÖNIGSSEE

foothills along the Chiemsee, the largest lake in Bavaria, the tour
will take you to the picturesque city of Berchtesgaden, near the famed
"Eagle's Nest" of recent history. After lunch you will see
the indescribably lovely Lake Königssee, a refulgent sapphire
set amidst the massive Alpine peaks. |

An hour's cruise on the lake includes the celebrated Chapel of St. Bartholomew,
which seems to float magically on the lake's deep blue water. Then back
to Munich through an Alpine wonderland, passing Bad Reichenhall, a spa
long famous for its brine springs and mud packs as well as for its breathtaking
surroundings.
SALZBURG

and many more. This walk gives you a first impression of Salzburg's
culture and way of life.We will have lunch in a cosy restaurant in
the historical city centre. After lunch you will visit the house where

ROYAL CASTLE TOUR

fees, lunch. Hidden in the seclusion of the mountains King Ludwig II built
two of his dream castles: Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. On this excursion
we will see these extraordinary castles, both testifying to the vision
of Bavaria's fairytale King.We will make a short photo stop in Oberammergau
– famous for its brightly painted houses (the so-called “Lüftlmalerei“)
and woodcarvers.We will then have four hours time to visit the castle
Neuschwanstein and to have lunch in Hohenschwangau just opposite.
LAKE AMMERSEE / DIESSEN / KLOSTER ANDECHS

lunch. With its mixed forests and bird kingdoms in bush and hedgerow,
the landscape of the Lake Ammersee is enticing. After the visit to a monastery
church with its splendid high altar and the wonderful frescoes, you will
take a cruise across the Lake to Herrsching. A 40 minutes walk leads you
to Monastery Andechs, the “Holy Mountain” of the Bavarians,
famous for its brewery and its motto: “It is our tradition to be
progressive and we can attribute our progress to a great tradition.”You
will have the opportunity to get to know this tradition and the fabulous
beer in the ancient Klostergasthof.
ZUGSPITZE
Date: Friday, 1 July
Time: 08.30-18.00

| Departure from and return to the ICM. Price incl. bus,
guide, cable car, lunch. The drive from Munich to Garmisch- Partenkirchen
leads us through one of the most picturesque regions of Bavaria.We
stop to visit the Benedictine Monastery in Ettal before continuing
on to Garmisch- Partenkirchen, once venue of the Olympic Games and
situated at the foot of the "Zugspitze" – Germany's
highest mountain (2.996 metres high). |

After the lunch break, the cable car takes us right up the summit. The
ascent by cable car takes about 50 minutes. On a clear day you can see
thousands of Bavarian, Austrian and Swiss mountain peaks. In the afternoon,
there will be a stop at the Benedictine Monastery of Ettal, before returning
back to Munich. For this trip warm clothing is recommended.
HERRENCHIEMSEE

you will pass through the typical Chiemgau landscape to the shores
of Lake Chiemsee. From Prien, a steamer will ferry you across to the
islands "Herrenchiemsee" and "Fraueninsel". On
"Herrrenchiemsee" you will have a walk to the castle, the
"Bavarian Versailles" built by King Ludwig II based on the
marvelous castle near Paris. |

bring you to the well-known "Starnberger See", Munich's

the lake to Bernried, with wonderful views over the countryside to

| The Buchheim Museum shows you the exciting and unique
collection of Lothar- Günther Buchheim, paintings and paper works
in immediate proximity to arts and crafts from all over the world.
You can find Bavarian 'folk art' along side cult objects from Africa
and other non-European countries. Afterwards, we will visit Monastery
Andechs, the "Holy Mountain" of the Bavarians, famous for
its brewery. You will have the opportunity to get to know its fabulous
beer in the ancient Klostergasthof. |

Notification of cancellation must be sent in writing to Congrex. Cancellation
of social events will be accepted until 10 May 2005 up to which date the
